Surreal gouache doorway opening into a calm, navigable corridor

Transforming Realities Inc. · Catonsville, Maryland

Open the next useful doorway.

Turnroom turns an overwhelming barrier into a short preparation sequence: name what is happening, sort what you know, shape one clear question, then choose a next step or a deliberate pause.

A four-room method

Each image is a doorway, not decoration.

Name

Start with what needs to become clearer.

Choose a fictional room close to the barrier you are thinking about. Keep the description concrete and small enough for another person to understand in one pass.

A place to begin

Housing questions often arrive as several doors at once.

Turnroom helps separate the immediate question from supporting details and the next person or source you may need to consult.

Sort

Put known details and open questions in different rooms.

A utility question may involve a date, an amount, a notice, a household need, and a question. Seeing the pieces separately can make the handoff shorter and clearer.

Routes and timing

A transit barrier changes when time and alternatives become visible.

Try naming the desired arrival, the uncertain connection, the accessibility need, and the fallback question before the conversation begins.

Work and school

Criteria become easier to challenge when they are written as questions.

Use the illustrated prompts to identify the decision, the document or example that matters, and one point that still needs a current answer.

Care and health

Prepare a question without placing private details inside the app.

Turnroom has no text field or upload. Use its visual categories as a rehearsal, then carry sensitive information only through a suitable trusted channel.

Prepare

Lay out only what the next conversation needs.

1 · Gather

Three facts you know

Choose the smallest reliable details that make the question understandable.

2 · Ask

One question, one follow-up

Make the first ask direct, then prepare a follow-up for the next concrete step.

3 · Choose

A next step or a pause

Save the plan, revisit it, seek a current source, talk with someone, or stop when the route is not right.

The private archive

Keep the plan until the doorway changes.

A saved plan contains four selected card identifiers and a timestamp. It is a compact rehearsal, not a case note. Delete one plan or clear the archive whenever it no longer helps.
